Ready to take your IT audit background and settle into a 1-2 year contract with one of the area’ s largest employers? This is your chance! This could be a great foot in the door for the long term, or it could just be the perfect next step if you need to lock something down for a year or 2. Role is 100% remote for the duration of the contract.

In this role, you’ ll develop external audit IT project timelines to ensure alignment with all internal/external stakeholders. You’ ll balance multiple projects simultaneously and serve as the liaison between external audit and internal coordinators. This involves assessing audit evidence to determine if it meets audit objectives, demonstrates completeness and accuracy of testing, and does not contain unnecessary information. Other basic tasks include ensuring all audit requests are logged and tracked to completion, holding appropriate parties accountable to meet deadlines.

At the broader level, you’ ll evaluate the organization’ s frameworks for governance, risk, and control and identify opportunities for control alignment. On the team, you’ ll coach audit coordinators across the IT organization on external audit engagements to ensure the program deliverables are met.

Requirements
  • IT Audit Background (general IT controls, security, change management)
  • Project management (business/accounting/IT)
  • Technical mindset, with some ability to interpret code and analyze data
  • CIA
  • CISA
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills - lots of excel tracking, pivot tables, v lookups, etc.
  • Sharepoint (admin) experience
